How To Create A Glittered Border/Frame

Step 1
Open your image in PSP.
Open Animation Shop and activate the Propogate Paste Button.

It looks like this:

I am using the image from my "How To Create A Brush Tutorial".



Step 2
Click on Image--> Add Borders--> about 5 inches
Choose a color that is not in your graphic.
If you choose a color that IS in your graphic, the Magic Wand will include that,
along with your border.

Using your Magic Wand click Inside your border.



Step 3
To fill this border you can use a solid color, a pattern or even glitter.
You can also use a gold or silver pattern.

Place the color or pattern in your Foreground.



Click on your Flood Fill Tool it looks like this:

and fill the selected border.

This is what my border looks like using the silver pattern.



Keep the border selected.

Step 4
In your Layer Palette, right click on your Background layer
and choose Promote Background Layer.
Right Click again and Choose Duplicate. Do this twice.



You should now have 3 Layers.

Step 5
This is where we Add Noise to each layer to create the animated border.

Activate Raster 1



Go to ADJUST--> Add Noise


Uniform
Monochrome Checked and Noise 10



Activate Copy of Raster 1



Go to ADJUST-->Add Noise
Same Settings except change Noise to 15

Activate Copy 2 of Raster 1



Go to ADJUST--> Add Noise
Same Settings except change Noise to 20

Select None

Step 6
Now it's time to open Animation Shop and have some fun!

In PSP activate Raster 1
Right Click and Copy



Go to Animation Shop and Paste as New Animation



Back to PSP. Activate Copy of Raster 1
Right Click and Copy

Go to Animation Shop and Right Click Inside graphic-->Paste After Current Frame



Back to PSP. Activate Copy 2 of Raster 1
Right Click and Copy
Go to Animation Shop and Right Click Inside-->Paste After Current Frame

Edit--> Select All



To see if the animation is working correctly, click on the film strip icon.

This is what it looks like:

Step 7
If you want to resize your graphic click on Animation and Resize Animation.



If you're happy with your results click on File and Save As.

Here is another example using a different graphic
